by train: Graz main station (direct connections from Munich, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Vienna, Zurich); for participants from Italy who wish to travel by train: In December, the train connection between Klagenfurt and Graz (journey time approx. 45 min) will be put into operation (time saving compared to IC bus with limited seating approx. 1 ¼ hours)!

Look out for savings offers (DB "Europa-Spezial" or similar, OEBB - usually more expensive - "Sparschiene", Trenitalia various Freccia offers)

by plane: Graz-Thalerhof Airport is a small airport, so flights are generally expensive; from the airport: taxi (costs approx. € 25 to the city centre); train: S-Bahn line S5 approx. 300 m from the terminal (Graz Airport - Feldkirchen), approx. every 30 min, Bus: Line 630 to Graz Puntigam station, hourly, bus stop directly in front of the airport (journey time to Puntigam station 11 min, from there tram line 5 to the city centre, journey time to the main station 8 min, to Jakominiplatz 19 min); further information can be found here: Travelling to and from Graz Airport

Arrival from Vienna-Schwechat Airport: connecting flight to Graz-Thalerhof; train: direct connections from the airport to Graz or change at Vienna Central Station, journey time approx. 3 hours (at least for the return journey, the significantly cheaper "Sparschiene" tickets are conceivable)

from the main station: Bus 63 (direction Schulzentrum St. Peter): Stop Universität or Uni/Mensa or bus 58 (direction Mariatrost): bus stop Universität/Morzartgasse

from Jakominiplatz: Bus 31 (direction Uni/RESOWI): bus stop Uni/RESOWI or bus 39 (direction Wirtschaftskammer): Bus stop: Zinzendorfgasse

from Hauptplatz: Tram 1 (direction Mariatrost), 7 (direction LKH/Med. Universität): Stop: Maiffredygasse (from there change to bus 31 or on foot, approx. 10 min.) or stop: Merangasse (from there change to bus 63 or on foot, approx. 10 min.)

by car:

in the immediate vicinity of the conference venue, please use the "Green Zone" (unlimited parking) (see green floor markings, parking ticket machine); further information on parking zones and fees can be found here: Parking in Graz
